Abstract

In the photography community there is often talk about whether people see themselves as “taking” pictures or “making” pictures. Is it a documentation or an artistic outlet. In this spirit I am working with ICM (in camera movement) where you take long shutter exposures while at the same time moving your camera around creating this painterly abstraction of photography. Mixing that with diffuse close-ups, more graphic imaging and other techniques I both “take” and “make” pictures.
